Just passed the Freeport buoy. About to enter the zone of cell phone exclusion. Will have to resort to ham radio from here.

P.s. the mullet got another boat. He got snagged in a shrimpers anchor line

The crew is starting to sleep in shifts. Still not much wind. I think this is the part where we throw the horses overboard.

The wind has disappeared. I think the mystical mullet might have gotten us.

Solitaire has cleared the Galveston jetties and entered the Gulf of Mexico. Race starts around 2pm.
