Contrary to popular belief, beards are synonymous with "Evil Twin Syndrome". The only exception is white beards, which in fact generate +1 to trustworthiness on the beard trustworthiness scale (with the exception of the white Hitler-beard, which is always untrustworthy.
Black, brown, and especially red beards designate the wearer as the Evil Twin version of themselves within the local multiverse. This is confirmed by the wearing of a gold sash.
