On September 9th, 2011, it was reported that a drunk moose was found in a tree in Sweden. Although the moose's head was not harvested for a use in an exploration society club house, this momentous event lead to a series of haikus to commemorating the event.

A moose got wasted
And made noise stuck in a tree
Damn crazy neighbors

It’s hard to call you
Illiterate when you write
Such a good haiku.

A moose eats apples
Gets drunk and stuck in a tree
