The Moon.

The Moon is a mysterious glowing orb in the sky that appears after the Sun has gone to bed. No one knows its true origin or purpose, but leading scientists of the Bacliff Exploration Society theorize that it was created when an itinerant scientist crashed his cold-fusion powered spacecraft into a space whale that was grazing on space krill around the Earth. It is suspected the crash occurred during the Great Expansion started by the 72nd Galactic Emperor.

Once, humans were able to launch a tiny tube with a few of there numbers to it's surface, but it was boring so they left, never to return.
