The Space Shuttle was an advanced spaceship built by NASA that made access to space cheap and routine. This was in the era before Robonaut-piloted Orions ruled the sky.
In 2011, the shuttle was retired and replaced with the MPCV, a super-awesome space vehicle designed by NASA's finest graphic artists, and powered by dreams.
