Tom Campbell was a very minor player on the NASA-JSC contractor scene although he fancied himself a space pirate. His only two measurable contributions to manned spaceflight were:
- the creation of a simplistic MATLAB based simulation named Adverse Departure Iterative Orbit Simulation (ADIOS). ADIOS was only notable because of its acronym and not its capability.
- the addition of WTF into the NASA acronym database.
Notes
- Tom Campbell is only loosely affiliated with the existence of Tom's Campfire.
