The Ares V (pronounced Aressev) was part of the Constellation Project that was to revolutionize rocket technology. It was to be the first "paper rocket" meaning it will be constructed entirely of paper. It was to be powered by whale oil and lard. The initial plan to was to use it as the launch vehicle for the Orion vehicle. Its ultimate purpose was also to be used to build the Space Whale Tube System.
