The Sun is the star the human world orbits around. It has been the basis of most religions since the time of the dinosaurs. In more technologically advanced Earth based societies, it's awesome burning power has been harnessed to a variety of uses. These include growing crops, burning ants and other bugs, and power for orbital habitats.
