Space Admiral Nelson was the leader of the Royal Space Navy at the Space Battle of Trafalgar. His flagship was the HMS Ultimate Victory. He has a robotic arm and a laser eye patch.

In his approximately 520 years in the Royal Space Navy, he has never spent more than 5 consecutive minutes in a gravity well, at least until that fateful day in the barstool nebula when he and his crew of 28 first encountered the Vith. At first the strange starship seemed derelict as it slowly tumbled at the Lagrange point between the gas giant Durainium and its largest moon Panera.
