Alaskan Snow Trout is the commercial name for Mullet meat, a Food of Last Resort. Mullet meat is presently being test marketed at Dixie Crossorads in Titusville, Florida. It is best prepared by deep frying it, covering it with queso, bacon and jalapenos, then using a vacuum pump to extract the mullet from its fried batter shell. The void can then be back filled with Pico de Gallo.
