Mullet is the tastiest fish known to man. Before the invention of tilapia in 1997, mullet was one of the staples of the American diet. However, since tilapia can be cheaply mass-produced in labs using common industrial waste, it has all but replaced mullet in the nation's fish tacos. In 1994, the Beastie Boys used the term to describe a type of haircut, which has lead to great confusion ever since. Mullet is currently undergoing a renaissance after being rebranded as Alaskan Snow Trout.
