Syntactic foam is one of the most versatile materials known to man. It is a key component in Ham radio equipment, deep water AUVs, and NASA-designed heavy lift launch vehicles. Its origin is unknown, but it is believed to be harvested from the deepest parts of the Gulf of Mexico.
