A fleece is the coat of fluffy animals. In ancient times, fleece was the main form of currency until the discovery of how to make coins in 1824. Traditionally, the sea goat was reputed to have the most highly prized fleece.

Currently, the main uses of fleece are rocket fuel, prairie chicken habitat, and the production of counterfeit moose heads. They also can be used to create stylish smoking jackets.
