League of Dark Skies

The League of Dark Skies was originally created to by astronomers to peaceably curb light pollution causing them to loose their jobs. However, the League was corrupted by the noxious influence of dark energy when if was discovered. It started it's reign of terror with astronomers started to smash lights that obstructed their view. Their perfidious actions continued until they where able to steal a rocket, and escape to the Moon. They are known as the henchmen of the Mad Scientist of the Moon. They occasionally make raids on orbiting habitats for supplies and space doubloons.
