Rock

Rock is the most precious natural resource on the Earth. It is the source of all tools and most huts and clothing for humans. Few civilizations have developed in areas that contain few rocks and those that do are definitely inferior.

Because of the possibly of future rock scarcity, some have proposed mining it from space.
