Whales are considered to be the cows of the sea. The deliciousness of whale meat lead to them being hunted to near extinction. Several years ago, international protection was enacted to preserve breeding stock for future generations of whalers. Their main natural predator is the Giant Space Squid. This eternal struggle between tasty and evil has been depicted in artwork throughout human civilization.
